I’m grateful for the loving support I receive from my friends that have been in my life for a while and from new friends I’ve made in the coaching communities I’ve more recently connected with.

  2. Love this episode and your ritual Melanie and Michael. Stephanie and I do that in our marriage (31 years!) and it really helps! The other thing we’ve always done as a family, whether in person or ending a phone call, is to say “I love you.” We never think about it, it just happens including with our four children. It’s good to know that no matter what, we all know we’re loved! Glad you’re home and hello Michael!

    Hello Melanie!
I am grateful for your generosity in sharing this! It’s so true when we focus on all the things (big and small) that we have to be thankful for, it can really make a difference!
It was a crisp and chilly morning here in Quebec, brrr…. and November gets dark, but the sun is shining bright and I am so grateful to leave surrounded by nature!!
Have a great day and thank you!!

Thank you Melanie & Michael for this episode. I thank you for putting it out there and giving “permission” to take this challenge slowly as with Michael, it was so engrained in me to just be thankful for what you have and life is unfair so deal with the hand you were “dealt.” It will take some time to put this “gratitude” exercise into action and feels good to hear someone say it’s ok if it doesn’t come naturally and have the encouragement to keep working at it.

So, I am grateful for the positive people in my life (you know who you are ) and want to manifest more of that energy in every aspect going forward.

Again, thank you both for sharing and for inviting us into a “better way” of living.

    Firstly..Congrats to you both!!

Secondly, We have a gratitude ritual we do every night as we put our 10 year old to bed:

We each say 3 things we’re grateful for and then a prayer/or send our love to someone or something other than ourselves. :)

..Sometimes we are grateful for funny things and end up in roars of laughter, sometimes tears of gratitude, sometimes it’s deep..but it ALWAYS brings us together in the spirit of gratitude.

Thirdly…I’m so grateful for you and all the other women entrepreneurs who are out there authentically doing what you love and inspiring others in the process.

    Happy thanks giving! :)

Congratulations Melanie and Michael! And thank you for this very timely message!

I’ve done a “gratitude journal” off and on for the past ten years. My life is definitely better when I consistently end my day by recoring one to ten things I am most grateful for that day.

Thanks so much for the reminder of how powerful a gratitude ritual can be.

    Happy Thanksgiving!

Congratulations to you both! You look soooo happy!!
I am grateful that I watched this episode because it reminded me that I need to get plugged into a community like yours.

I’m dusting off my copy of Ultimate Success Generator and the Daily Success Journal and going through the program. You gave me the inspiration to DO IT NOW and quit proscrastinating.

2012 will be my best year yet!!

    Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Again – congrats Melanie and Michael! I am grateful for my two wonderful cute little boys. I am also grateful for my health and for being able-bodied so I can do so many things normally taken for granted.

Sometimes when I get irritated that I’ve left the house and forgotten something, I remind myself how lucky I am that I can just hop out of the car and run inside to get it. If I was in a wheel chair it would be a huge ordeal. Then my irritation melts away as I’m thankful for being able-bodied.
